Spark peer ministry applications being accepted

SPARK stands for Student Peers Are Renewing Kommunity. This is a peer leadership team of St Francis

parishioners, grades 9-12 (school year 2017-2018), who seek to engage their peers in faith and community building activities while also creating multi-generational community events for the St Francis congregation. SPARK team members are active leaders in monthly youth groups and in community events that they sponsor throughout the year. Applications are available outside the youth office (Room 117 in the staff area) and are due in June.

Totus Tuus - June 11-15, grades 7-12

We are pleased to announce the TOTUS TUUS summer program will be back for the 13th consecutive year. To celebrate the success of this awesome program we are offering to waive the registration fees to currently registered (on/before Jan. 2017) parishioners of St. Francis of Assisi Colorado Springs. The funds to waive the registration fees come from the recent successes of the annual silent auction fundraiser.

  • TOTUS TUUS program calls upon college students and seminarians from across the United States to teach and inspire our kids. A TOTUS TUUS teacher helps to make the faith real to young people as a way of life and love not simply a set of rules and obligations.

  • ELEMENTARY...During the week the children will have fun classroom catechesis, supervised outdoor activities, prayer, skits, songs, attend daily Mass, learn the Mass parts and liturgical songs. All this will keep your kids excited and entertained.

  • YOUTH...Vibrant, faith-filled, college-aged teachers can effectively impact the middle and high school youth. The program includes instruction, games, small group discussions, skits, prayer, and fellowship. Middle and high school classes are separate.
